Plan your UAE office IT before the fit-out is finished

1. Office, ISP, and Cabling

• Confirm the office floor plan, desk count, meeting rooms, reception, server rack location, and growth capacity.
• Check Etisalat or du fiber availability, activation lead time, backup internet options, and static IP requirements.
• Plan Cat6 or Cat6A structured cabling, patch panels, rack layout, cable labels, and WiFi access point locations.

2. Network and Security

• Select firewall, router, managed switches, VLANs, guest WiFi, VPN access, and secure admin access.
• Define security controls for endpoint protection, email security, MFA, DNS filtering, and patching.
• Document network diagrams, passwords, licenses, warranty details, and escalation contacts.

• Plan VoIP, Teams Direct Routing, call flows, reception routing, voicemail, and business-hour rules.
• Coordinate CCTV, NVR, access control, biometrics, door controllers, and compliance requirements.
• Complete day-one testing for internet, WiFi, printers, calls, Microsoft 365, backups, CCTV, and support contacts.
